I swear that since I went to Mexico, I am 100% ready for summer. It might be pretty obvious in my posts, but I have been quite leaning towards bohemian vibes since I got back to NYC. Even dressed up in a leather jacket, something about this look reminds me of summer.
Anyways, it's Thursday and I could not be more happy! This has seriously been the longest week of my life. Cheers to the almost weekend.
You know how I love a good mixtape to fit the mood of a new season. Yes it is still freezing here in NYC, and no it is not spring yet, but it's the month of MARCH! Which means the light at the end of winter's tunnel is near. I paired a few photos from my film work along with this little playlist to hopefully get you all excited for spring.
"And I will warm you, I will calm you down. Until those waters are ready to be sailed upon, under a honeymoon."
Anyone remember the band 'The Good Life'? Growing up in highschool I was so obsessed with the band, Tim Kasher's side project from Cursive. Something about those saddle creek records bands that always got me. And I'll be the first to admit I still love all those bands today!
Anyway, another obsession of mine is the crescent moon. Some of you may know, I have a tattoo of the symbol on the inside of my left arm. I don't really like to get all cheesy about the meaning of tattoos, because let's face it, half the tattoos people get are because they look appealing. However, the meaning behind the crescent moon is 'new beginnings and turning dreams into reality'. Having the symbol on my arm, always there to remind me of why I came to New York City and to never give up on my dreams. When I saw this dress from Pepa Loves, I absolutely had to have it.
